Māori Women in Business Awards

A Moment of Pride, A Gift Forward

In 2024, Rochelle was nominated in three categories at the Māori Women in Business Awards, presented by Māori Women’s Development Inc. Just being recognised among so many incredible wāhine was humbling in itself, but coming away with the win for Te Waipounamu Māori Woman in Business was something else entirely.

This award highlighted the values we stand for and how we carry them through everything we do at R&P. As a proudly Māori-owned business, being acknowledged in this way felt deeply personal and incredibly meaningful.

Rochelle received a trophy and a $2,000 prize, which she donated in full to the Wahine Wanawana Trust, a cause close to her heart and aligned with our mission of supporting wāhine with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to thrive.

We’re so proud of this recognition, but even more proud of what it stands for: that business can be successful AND values-led. That cultural identity and commercial strength can exist side by side. And that the more we lift each other, the better off we all are.
